They that wait upon the Lord...

"Waiting" seems to be the word we use the most when anyone ask us about our adoption process.

In the Beth Moore Bible Study on the book of Esther(...and everything that follows is an horrible paraphrase...)she referred to the verse above and talked about how we confuse "waiting upon the Lord" with waiting for what we are actually waiting for...like a baby then and now our daughter through adoption. Even as a Christian of 20plus years God really spoke to me when B. Moore taught that there is a big difference between waiting on what we want from God and waiting on God. She encouraged us to step back and say to Him, "I'm waiting on You, for whatever you are going to do whenever you choose to do it." Maybe this isn't huge to anyone reading this- but as someone in the middle of a huge waiting game I was so thankful for the reminder that He is the only one I am to be waiting on. Please pray for us. That we will continue to wait patiently and continue to learn how to wait on the Lord.

We saw the rough draft of our homestudy. It is almost complete. We were just recently made aware that Gracie also has to have a physical. Thankfully she already had a doctors appointment scheduled for this week- God's perfect timing. Once we get the physical in and our changes made to the homestudy it will be sent to our agency in MN- pending no more unexpectedness!

So no big news but God is working in big ways in my heart and our lives.
