Safe in His hands

We only have one correction to make on our dossier. And it wasn't even due to a mistake on our part! The agency representative in Ethiopia has changed so we have to update some paperwork with the current name. It is one of the longer processes since it is the document that has to be sent away for state certification but nothing to be done except to get to it.

We did discover that we actually still owe $2700.00 to the agency. I had thought it was down to $1200.00. We currently have $1000.00 of that so only $1700.00 more to go. That's it...isn't that incredible? Out of $17,000.00 in agency and country fees we are down to $1700.00! That's pretty amazing to us.

Meanwhile, God is still at work reminding us that this is His plan for our lives and for Mirtnesh. Adding another child comes with tangible needs as well. We've been given huge amounts of hand-me-downs recently~ in sizes we think will fit Mirtnesh and Gracie next summer. Some dear friends of ours have also gifted us with bunkbeds! This was such a huge blessing and just a sweet gift. To save money Jeremy was going to build them...this gift is so much easier, less stressful, and I don't have to worry about if we're actually going to have bunkbeds or not. (No disrespect intended~he's a busy man!)

Jeremy asked what I wanted for Christmas...I want Mirtnesh here with us.

It's not to be...and so continues my never-ending lesson in patience.

Please keep Mirtnesh in your prayers. I pray so hard that she is safe and happy. What peace God grants us when we remember that He loves her even more than we do and she's in His hands...so are we. What a great place to be.
