We've been told that adopting will be a great lesson in patience.
It has already proven to be true! Right now we are at a stand still as we wait for a financial gift we were given to clear. It was a large gift and will allow us to pay for and then continue forward with our homestudy. (Thank you to everyone who contributed to our need!)
We know that God is in control and we would be grateful for your prayers- for our patience and for His working through all of this.
We have already started praying for the children at the orphanage in Ethiopia and specifically for the child God might join to our family. It's easy to pray for her, but it's getting hard to wait.
It feels like my whole adult life has been a lesson in waiting for God's next move- it's always been worth the wait but when the next turn comes I'm just as impatient as ever! Obviously He knows He still has a lot to teach me!
